Richard Erickson, DO

Brazosport Regional is pleased to announce Dr. Richard Erickson as the newest member of their medical team. As a board-certified family practitioner, Dr. Erickson will join the Brazosport Regional Family Medicine Center in Brazoria.

Most recently, Dr. Erickson provided care at the West Isle Urgent Care in Galveston, where he not only provided urgent medical care but also industrial and occupational medicine. Prior to, he was an Assistant Professor in the Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and the Medical Director of the Gulf Health Care Center. 

Before providing services in Galveston, Dr. Erickson had a full scope traditional family practice in Sweeny, TX. He treated acute and chronic illnesses in addition to traumatic injuries for the pediatric, adult, and geriatric population. He was the Medical Director for the Hospice Care Team for ten years, and a preceptor for fourth year medical students for eleven years.

Dr. Erickson provides a full scope of care at the Family Medicine Center in Brazoria including osteopathic manipulation and DOT physicals.
